A major workplace safety organization responsible for Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) training across 1,800+ Ready-Made Garment factories was still running the entire programme lifecycle on spreadsheets, email chains and manual calendars. Factory selection, union information collection, multi-session scheduling (Initial Meeting → AEM → Trainings 1–8 → SC Meeting), Safety Committee Walk-Throughs (SCWT), Letters of Acknowledgement (LoA) and remediation follow-up were all fragmented. Complex business rules — a strict 21-day gap between sessions, consecutive-day pairings for Trainings 2&3 and 6&7, conflict avoidance with the inspection calendar and zone holidays, and eligibility thresholds for LoA — were enforced by hand. The result: frequent reschedules, incomplete attendance data, delayed reports, limited real-time visibility for management and brands, and heavy MEAL clean-up effort every month.
I engineered a complete OSH Training Platform as a native extension of the organisation’s existing Salesforce inspection system. The platform digitalises the full training lifecycle while reusing login, RBAC, communication gateway, document repository, fleet/logistics and the inspection calendar — eliminating parallel systems and guaranteeing a single source of truth.
Dedicated portals for factory focal points (schedule confirmation, holiday declaration, Safety Committee composition with NID/Birth Certificate, data submission) and for trainers / Team Leaders. Full role-based access, Bangla + English support and real-time status visibility.
Configurable Apex + Flow engine that auto-proposes the next session, strictly enforces the 21-day gap after any conducted training, places sessions 2&3 and 6&7 on consecutive working days, checks the inspection calendar and zone holidays for conflicts, auto-assigns dedicated OSHTPS / Co-OSHTPS / logistics / vehicle, and supports zone-based proxy swapping with mandatory email + follow-up task.
Custom Lightning Web Components with full offline support let trainers capture verified attendance (NID/BC), evaluations, photos and SCWT findings even in factories with zero connectivity. Automatic synchronisation with conflict resolution guarantees data integrity.
Complete digital lifecycle for Safety Committee Walk-Throughs: findings with photos, automatic segregation (Engineering / Common Engineering / OSH), engineering advice workflow, PDF report generation, release to factory and automated CAP reminders (7 then 3 working days) until resolution.
Automatic eligibility detection (≥6 sessions / full cycle), multi-stage review, HoD/MD approval, bilingual (English/Bangla) PDF generation, print/laminate readiness tracking and handover recording. Monthly, quarterly, SCWT and LoA reports are generated instantly and archived to the factory profile.
Configurable email/SMS templates with programme-specific merge fields. Automatic alerts on schedule, postpone, reschedule or proxy events. Full tracking of the bi-annual Factory Communication Drive with follow-ups for missing or incorrect data.
Role-scoped, filterable dashboards (planned vs held, completion rates, open CAPs, LoA pipeline, zone/DIFE-EPZ/brand breakdown) plus full Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning reporting. Logistics, equipment and inventory requisition/receive/reconciliation complete the operational picture.
As lead Salesforce developer I owned the end-to-end architecture and delivery of the OSH Training Platform. This included Experience Cloud portal design, Service Cloud configuration for the full programme lifecycle, custom offline-ready LWC components, Apex/Flow logic for the 21-day rule, consecutive-day pairings, conflict detection and proxy swapping, SCWT remediation + CAP automation, digital LoA eligibility and document generation pipeline, automated communication templates, real-time MEL dashboards, logistics/inventory modules, and seamless reuse of existing inspection services (RBAC, calendar, document repository, fleet). Every rule was made configurable via Custom Metadata Types so future changes require zero code deployment.
Mapped every business rule (21-day gap, consecutive pairings, LoA eligibility, SCWT CAP, resumption triggers) from the full set of SOPs and existing trackers into configurable Custom Metadata.
Designed the Salesforce data model, Experience Cloud portals, offline LWC strategy and reuse of existing inspection services (RBAC, calendar, document repository, fleet).
Factory profiles, intelligent scheduling engine, offline session capture and structured digital trackers went live, immediately cutting spreadsheet work.
Union information workflow, automated communications, SCWT remediation with CAP automation and the full digital LoA pipeline were released.
Resumption triggers, SC functionality survey, logistics/inventory management and consolidated real-time MEL dashboards completed the platform.
